Ivory Layne may be young, but her music is that of an old soul. Layne is a self-taught songwriter, producer, and artist, penning her first song at age six in her hometown of Denver, North Carolina. By high school, she was posting her original works online, where she caught the attention of Grammy-award winning producer, Ed Cash. Shortly after meeting Cash, Layne moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue music full time.
With her prolific lyrics and distinct musicality, Layne was quickly signed to a publishing deal and writing with top names in Nashville such as Jimmy Robbins, Shane McAnally, Natalie Hemby, and Lori McKenna. Her sharpness in the writer's room and signature sound has landed her multiple global ad campaigns including Swarovski and HBO as well as opportunities to collaborate with artists such as Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness whom she accompanied on his successful US Tour in December 2019.
Layne’s well-rounded skill-sets attracted the attention of superstar, Justin Timberlake, who signed her to his artist development company, Villa40. Since partnering with Timberlake, Layne has been hard at work creating new music including the singles Boy Loves Me, Heaven, Me, and Cookie Cutter.
Ivory is currently spending her time in London writing for a brand new project.
