Born and raised in the country in Southwest Arkansas Evan moved to Orlando a month after graduating college to focus on music and go to recording school.

Starting as an intern up to an assistant for one of the best rock producers in the genre at the time.  Under him Evan got to work with Alter Bridge (formerly Creed), Shinedown and various other bands on indie labels.

After two years Evan met Brock Berryhill and they started Starlight Studios. They produced local and national acts like A Rocket To The Moon (fueled by ramen),

Versa Emerge (fueled by ramen) Matt Hires (Atlantic) and Twenty One Pilots (Atlantic).

Evan received his first Gold Plaques for the records “Like We Used To” by A Rocket To The Moon and “Lovely” by Twenty One Pilots.

In 2015 Evan moved to Nashville to focus on songwriting and put his production skills to use writing songs.

Shortly after moving to Nashville, Evan met Waterloo Revival; landing 2 cuts on their debut EP, the title track, “Front Row” and another called “Backwood Bump” which was the main song played on ESPN and SEC network during the 2016

College Football Season.

Evan signed a publishing deal with Starstruck Writer’s Group and quickly secured his first holds with Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen and Tim McGrath.

Since then Evan has continued to work with the cream of the country music songwriting community and on the pop side has worked with a number of exciting established and up and coming artists such as Dr Luke’s artist Sophie Rose, Caroline Kole and Ester Dean.
